Limited Warranty

Online Purchases — Effective 2026

Thank you for choosing Blu Sleep. We stand behind the quality of our products and are pleased to provide this Limited Warranty for items purchased directly from us through our online store. Please read this document carefully and keep it together with your order confirmation.

Your order confirmation email serves as your proof of purchase and contains the date your warranty period begins. We recommend keeping it in a safe place.


Warranty Coverage at a Glance

Each product’s warranty is described in detail in the sections that follow. All warranties cover manufacturing defects only and are subject to the conditions and exclusions described in this booklet.


Mattress Limited Warranty — 15 Years

What Is Covered

Blu Sleep Products LLC warrants to the original purchaser that your mattress will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for fifteen (15) years from the date of original purchase, subject to the terms below.

Covered defects include:

  • Visible indentation or sagging in the sleeping surface measuring 1.5 inches or more in depth, measured without weight applied to the mattress.
  • Splitting, cracking, or material breakdown of the foam core under normal use.
  • Manufacturing defects in the cover, including seam separation or zipper failure under normal use.

Coverage Period and Proration

Years 1–10: Blu Sleep will repair or replace the mattress at our discretion, at no charge to you. You are responsible for return shipping coordination if the mattress must be returned for inspection or replacement.

Years 11–15: Coverage continues on a prorated basis. You will be responsible for a percentage of the original purchase price, plus all shipping costs.

After 15 years, your mattress is no longer covered under this warranty.

Support Requirements

Your mattress must be used on adequate, rigid support to maintain warranty validity. Adequate support includes:

  • A solid platform bed
  • A slatted base with slats no more than 3 inches apart
  • A matching foundation or box spring in good condition
  • An adjustable base

Damage caused by inadequate or broken support is not covered. We may request photographs of your support system as part of the claim review.

Mattress Protector Requirement

A mattress protector is required to maintain warranty validity. Mattresses returned in a stained, soiled, or unsanitary condition cannot be inspected or processed for warranty service under federal and state sanitation regulations, and your claim will be denied. We strongly recommend purchasing a mattress protector at the time of mattress purchase.

Three-Month Unboxing Requirement

IMPORTANT: Your mattress must be unboxed and unrolled within three (3) months of the original purchase date. Mattresses that remain in their shipping packaging beyond three months may suffer permanent compression and structural damage, and your warranty will be voided. Please plan accordingly if you are storing your mattress prior to use.

What Is Not Covered

  • Comfort preference, including firmness, feel, or temperature (these are covered by our separate Sleep Trial — see Sleep Trial & Returns Policy below).
  • Normal softening of foam materials over time, which does not affect support.
  • Stains, soiling, burns, cuts, tears, or other physical damage.
  • Damage from improper handling, abuse, neglect, or use inconsistent with the care instructions.
  • Mattresses used on inadequate or broken support.
  • Mattresses unboxed more than three months after purchase.
  • Mattresses with the law tag removed.
  • Mattresses used in commercial or rental settings.
  • Mattresses purchased from unauthorized resellers.

Pillow Limited Warranty — 2 Years

What Is Covered

Blu Sleep Products LLC warrants to the original purchaser that your pillow will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of original purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects only — it does not cover comfort, firmness preference, or normal wear.

Covered defects include:

  • Foam splitting or cracking under normal use.
  • Cell-structure deterioration that prevents the pillow from returning to its original shape after compression.
  • Defective gel inserts, including leaking, separating, or breaking down.
  • Manufacturing defects in the cover, including seam separation or zipper failure.
  • Fabric manufacturing flaws (not normal wear, pilling, or laundering effects).

What Is Not Covered

  • Comfort, firmness preference, or temperature feel.
  • Normal softening or loss of loft over time.
  • Stains, discoloration, odor, or yellowing from sweat, body oils, or moisture.
  • Pet damage, burns, tears, or punctures.
  • Damage from improper washing, drying, or care.
  • Pillows without proof of purchase or with original tags removed.

Cover Limited Warranty — 1 Year

Removable pillow covers, removable mattress covers, and topper covers are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of original purchase.

Covered: manufacturing defects in stitching, seams, zippers, and fabric.
Not covered: normal wear, pilling, fading, shrinkage, damage from improper laundering, stains, tears, or pet damage.


Mattress Topper Limited Warranty — 3 Years (Foam) / 1 Year (Cover)

The foam component of your mattress topper is warranted for three (3) years against manufacturing defects, including splitting, cracking, or material breakdown under normal use. The removable cover is warranted separately for one (1) year, as described above.

Not covered: comfort preference, normal softening, stains, soiling, pet damage, or use inconsistent with care instructions.


Mattress Protector Limited Warranty — 3 Years

Blu Sleep mattress protectors are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from manufacturing defects in materials, workmanship, and waterproof barrier integrity for three (3) years from the date of original purchase.

Covered: manufacturing defects in stitching, seams, and the waterproof barrier.
Not covered: normal wear, damage from improper laundering, punctures, tears, or pet damage.


Italian Linen Limited Warranty — 1 Year

Blu Sleep Italian linens are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of original purchase.

Not covered: normal wear, pilling, fading, shrinkage from improper laundering, stains, or tears.


Pet Bed Limited Warranty — 90 Days

Blu Sleep pet beds are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for ninety (90) days from the date of original purchase.

Covered: seam failure, zipper failure, and foam disintegration under normal use.
Not covered: pet damage of any kind (chewing, scratching, soiling), comfort preference, normal wear, or stains. Pet-soiled or damaged beds are not eligible for warranty service under hygiene regulations.


Sleep Trial & Returns Policy

Our Sleep Trial is separate from your product warranty. The Sleep Trial covers comfort and firmness preference within the first 90 nights. The Limited Warranty (described above) covers manufacturing defects for the full warranty period. These are two different policies with different terms.

Mattress Sleep Trial — 90 Nights

30-Night Break-In Period

Your body needs time to adjust to a new mattress, and our memory foam needs time to settle into its final feel. For these reasons, we require a 30-night break-in period before any comfort return can be initiated. This is not optional — the great majority of customers who feel uncertain in the first two weeks adapt to their new mattress by week four.

How the Trial Works

  • Nights 1–30: break-in period. Please give your mattress a fair chance during this time.
  • Nights 31–90: if your mattress is not the right fit, you may request a return or an exchange.
  • After night 90: the Sleep Trial ends. Your mattress remains covered under the 15-year Limited Warranty for manufacturing defects.

Free Exchange Option

If your mattress isn’t the right fit, you can exchange it for a different model or firmness within the trial window at no charge. Our customer service team will help you choose a better match. We strongly encourage this option — most customers find a model that works for them with a single exchange.

Full Refund Option

If you prefer a full refund rather than an exchange, a $99 return processing fee will be deducted from your refund. The refund will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days after the mattress is returned, donated, or otherwise processed.

Return Logistics — Your Two Options

Customers are responsible for coordinating return shipping. We offer two paths:

Option 1: Donate locally. Many local shelters, charities, and assistance organizations accept gently used mattresses. If you donate your mattress to a registered charity and provide us with a copy of the donation receipt, we will waive the requirement to coordinate return shipping and process your refund or exchange immediately upon receipt of documentation. This is the option we recommend — it’s faster for you and supports your local community.

Option 2: Coordinate return shipping. If donation isn’t feasible, you may arrange return shipping at your own cost. Please contact our customer service team for guidance on packaging and shipping requirements. We do not offer pickup service at this time.

Trial Conditions

  • One trial per household / shipping address.
  • A mattress protector is strongly recommended. Mattresses returned in stained, soiled, or damaged condition will not be accepted.
  • Original packaging and law tag must be intact.
  • Trial begins on the date of original purchase (not delivery date).

Pillow Returns — 30 Days, Sealed and Unused Only

Pillows may be returned within 30 days of purchase only if they are sealed in their original packaging and have not been used or opened. Once a pillow has been removed from its packaging, it cannot be returned for comfort reasons.

Why We Require This

Pillows are personal-contact products. Once opened, a pillow comes into direct contact with skin, hair, sweat, and respiratory droplets, and it cannot be resold to another customer — federal and state sanitary regulations prohibit the resale of used bedding. This policy is industry standard and is in place to protect the health and confidence of every Blu Sleep customer.

Exception: pillows that arrive defective or damaged on opening (wrong product, shipping damage, visible manufacturing defect) will be replaced at our cost. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery if you believe you have received a defective pillow.

Other Product Returns

  • Mattress toppers: 30 days, unused and in original packaging.
  • Mattress protectors: 30 days, sealed and unused only (same hygiene rationale as pillows).
  • Italian linens: 30 days, unused and in original packaging.
  • Pet beds: not eligible for comfort return (hygiene). Defects covered under the 90-day Limited Warranty.

How to File a Warranty Claim

If you believe your Blu Sleep product has a manufacturing defect covered by this Limited Warranty, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our customer service team at info@myblusleep.com or (844) 421-0101 during business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM ET). Please include your order number, the product affected, and a description of the issue.
  2. Provide documentation. We will request photographs of the defect, your order confirmation as proof of purchase, photographs of the mattress law tag (for mattress claims), and photographs of your support system if relevant. For sagging claims, we will ask you to place a straight edge across the mattress with no weight applied and photograph the gap with a tape measure.
  3. Claim review. Our team will review your documentation typically within 5–7 business days and notify you of the decision. We may request additional photographs or information.
  4. Resolution. If your claim is approved, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion. For mattress replacements during the prorated years (11–15), you will be invoiced for the applicable percentage and shipping costs before the replacement ships. You may be required to surrender the defective product.

General Terms

Who Is Covered

This Limited Warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable. Proof of purchase (your order confirmation email) is required to file any claim.

Geographic Coverage

This Limited Warranty applies to products purchased and delivered within the United States and Canada.

Limitation of Remedies

Our sole obligation under this Limited Warranty is to repair or replace the defective product, at our discretion. In no case will Blu Sleep Products LLC be liable for incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost wages, lost time, inconvenience, damage to property other than the product, or economic loss, whether based on breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence, or product liability.

Implied Warranties

Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state and province to province.

Severability

If any provision of this Limited Warranty is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
